More About 7x19 Stainless Steel Cable (T316)
7 x 19 aircraft cable wire rope is a general purpose cable. The 7x19 stainless steel cable configuration includes 7 strands and 19 wires per strand in stainless steel, resulting in a small diameter stainless wire rope that resists corrosion and is flexible. Aircraft cable strength is ideal for a range of light duty applications, such as rails, fences, winch lines, garage doors, rigging sailboats, and exercise equipment.

The T316 stainless steel finish provides the highest level of protection against corrosion. It's also referred to as "marine grade" stainless steel, so it's ideal in high moisture environments. For additional protection, a vinyl coated stainless steel cable configuration is also available.Please note: commercial grade aircraft cable cannot be used for aircraft controls.
