Galvanized wire rope is an excellent choice for that added protection from moisture and corrosion. 

The 6x37 class wire rope (actual 6x36 configuration) offers superior flexibility than the 6x19 class
t is more susceptible to abrasion as added amount of wires per strand but the strand diameter remaining the same means the individual wires are smaller in diameter. 
Made of EIPS (Extra Improved Plowed Steel)
ur IWRC wire rope core provides added support to the outer strands.
The extra support adds to the durability and strength of the wire rope assemblies. 
We also carry coils of wire rope in 5000' lengths.

More About 6x37 Galvanized Wire Rope EIPS IWRC (Steel Core)
6x37 wire rope is a more flexible wire than 6 x 19 wire rope, due to the increased number of wires per strand. However, this configuration has less resistance to abrasion than 6 x 19 wire ropes. This is an actual 6x36 wire rope construction in galvanized cable, with 6 strands/35 wires per strand. This type of flexible wire rope is found in many industries, including dredging, excavating, logging and marine environments. Common uses include winch lines, mooring lines, chokers and skylines.

The grade of steel used in our 6 x 37 galvanized steel cable is known as EIPS, meaning Extra Improved Plowed Steel. EIPS wire rope has roughly 10% more strength than regular IPS. An independent wire rope core ( IWRC ) provides added strength, reduces the amount of stretch; IWRC wire rope also provides more resistance to heat. The galvanized finish provides additional corrosion resistance, although not as much protection as a stainless steel cable.
